Set out on a 5-hour cultural and historical sightseeing tour of Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley. Visit temples, museums, rich botanical gardens, and many more alluring landmarks to learn more about the city's colonial past.

Description

Around 9:00 AM, your guide and chauffeur will excitedly await your arrival at the hotel where your tour will begin. We will spend around 30 minutes admiring the splendor of the ISKCON temple, which is your first stop. It is designed in the neoclassical style.

Moving forward, we'll see the lavish Tipu Sultan's Palace, a magnificent two-story regal mansion decorated with teakwood. This historical treasure, which was recently converted into a museum, provides a distinctive glimpse into Bangalore's rich past. We'll spend about forty minutes here.

The verdant Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, home to more than 1,000 rare plant species, is where we'll be going next. You'll get about 45 minutes to explore this lush haven before we move on to enjoy a delicious South Indian meal prepared locally.

After lunch, we'll travel to the magnificent Bangalore Palace.

As the journey comes to an end, we'll make one more stop at the magnificent Bull Temple, a masterpiece of Dravidian construction delicately tucked among the surrounding rocks. After that, you can choose to either end your day with our hassle-free hotel drop-off service or go on an independent exploration of the city.

Good Tour

October 23, 2019

Lots of traffic in Bangalore so spent a lot of time in car, to be expected there. Did see Palace, Gardens and Bull Temple. Went solo and was a little nervous about that but the guide and driver where very friendly and took good care of me. They did stop at some shops which I didn’t mind although I felt slightly pressured to buy something. Otherwise good.
